Oh newborns... the flaky skin, that brand new smell that I'm almost positive is heaven sent, and the overwhelming excitement of finally getting to hold that little bundle that you've dreamed of for 9 long months. Everything about a newborn is so invigorating for me. It's the stage that we wish away on those sleepless nights, but simultaneously long to slow down as they change a little every day before our eyes.

I photograph all of my newborn clients in the first 5-14 days after birth. Most clients prefer to have their session in my studio that is perfectly suited for a relaxing outing as new parents. However, I also offer in home, lifestyle newborn sessions for homes that are full of natural light for moms who would prefer a more laid back style that documents the perfect details of baby's nursery.
