I often get asked if my newborn sessions include family and sibling photos. Yes and yes- I wouldn’t have it any other way! The best part of a newborn session is getting to love on your newest, tiny love and celebrating welcoming them as a family. As your MS Gulf Coast newborn photographer, it’s a joy to document it all for you!

Most of the time we’ll start off your newborn session with your baby’s first portraits. This is often done while Mom is being pampered with hair and makeup. After that, we document sibling photos. These are really important to me, and I make it my mission to make the big sibling(s) feel special in their new role. Their entire world has just changed with an added photoshoot on top of it; it can be overwhelming. Not only do I want them to genuinely feel special and have their moment, it often helps them get excited for the rest of the session. 

This big sister is no stranger to my lens! I actually had the honor of photographing her newborn session as well, so it was really exciting to have her back in the studio with her baby brother. She loved looking at all of the dresses in the studio wardrobe and actually chose her own dress. After hamming it up for me, she was pretty eager to join her baby brother for sibling photos, followed by family portraits.
