Wind blown curls, seashell hunts, water tickled toes. This family session had all the things I love so much about the beach!
It all started with her styling appointment at the studio. Momma chose the most perfect neutral palette that let their love truly shine. I’m pretty positive her simple dress that is so comfy and had the best flow in the wind was the very first one she tried on. I just love it when that happens! After choosing her baby girl’s pretty dainty floral dress, we chose the warm toned overalls for baby brother to coordinate with that pattern. They just so happened to have the most perfect pocket for stuffing his seashell treasures in. We finished everything off with a simply henley for dad that would’ve worked well with any option for pants, and momma decided to bring in some more deep toned neutrals with them. Her and her sweet girl were pampered courtesy of Hailey who met them at their home to provide hair and makeup services. I’m so thankful to get to work with many talented artists here on the coast.
All that was left was to hope for the most amazing sunset (ummm… check!) and for mom and dad to love on their babies. We did just that. There were lots of tickles, some racing, dress twirling, and eskimo kisses. It was a memorable evening for sure that rounded out with Cormac snuggling mommy on the walk back to the car and telling me how I wasn’t allow to come home with them in their car. LOL. Totally ok because I’m happy to report he was my helper at their framing install, and we’re now best buds. These are some of my favorite images we captured together. Be sure to follow the post to the end to see which ones momma chose for her framed gallery wall!
