When I was thinking of ways to better serve my clients in 2020, I began to dream of adding in home, lifestyle newborn sessions as an option. They are so intimate and cozy and fill my heart to the brim. Here’s a few reasons why I loved testing the waters for these and things that would make this a great option for you…
– You planned every detail of your sweet baby’s nursery with a purpose in mind for everything. You will want to remember the details down to the tiniest decoration.
– You can be surrounded by the things that bring you happiness, like these sweet fur sibs.
– You are hoping for more laidback and less posed images. These are all about the genuineness of this sweet season with your new love.
– You never leave the comforts of your home. I come to you, and we find those light filled nooks in your own space.
If you’ve planned a beautiful nursery and your home gets great natural light, these would be a great fit for you momma. They are officially open for booking, and I could NOT be more excited about that!
Sweet Stella’s session was dream! Her fur siblings kept a watchful eye from the moment I walked through the door. They made sure they approved of my presence, and I was happy to assure them with some belly rubs. The precious duo stayed by mom and dad’s side for our entire session, and I fell in love with how sweet they are.
We spent most our time in Stella’s beautiful boho botanical nursery. I love that momma made it just girly enough for her little princess with a palette of grey, black, gold, cream, and green. She was most content nursing, and I adored getting to document that special moment. I thought she may fade off into milk induced dreams after, but she was wide awake and ready to just soak it all in. They may be my favorite thing about this laidback style… there’s no pressure for baby to snooze for posing. We just let everything unfold as it would on a normal day.
Can we just talk about that little ring for a moment? Daddy’s family owns Pav & Broome and grandpa hand crafted the tiny treasure for Stella. I can imagine that it will be a family heirloom for many generations to come.
Also, since she was born just before Christmas, we made sure to document that as well with some snuggles by the tree. It was the perfect ending. I so enjoyed my time with this sweet family, and I hope you enjoy seeing what we created together.
