Having this sweet family into the studio to celebrate adding a baby brother to the crew was such a treat. After getting settled in, mom and I discussed her wardrobe options and completed styling their session. I absolutely love the sweet little embroidered dress from Zara that is fancy enough to match this sweet sister’s personality. She was so much fun!

During a feeding break for baby, she and I got to play dress up with my wardrobe. She has quite the eye for fashion and unashamedly pointed out that I was lacking in the pink dress department. LOL. Don’t worry; I remedied that with some shopping shortly after our session because that was unacceptable. We also had a mini photoshoot with a stuffed teddy bear and my headband collection. Being a boy mom of three, this filled my heart up so much y’all. Who gets to play dress up with a precious little girl during their day at work?! Best job ever!

Ok, back to baby brother… I adored all of his sweet details like his long, lean body and fuzzy little shoulders adorned with the finest blonde hairs. Mommy said how much she loved his fuzzy shoulders as I took him back into arms when his tummy was full. The first thing I did when we got back to work was throw my macro lens on for a close up of that because those are the details that make the exhaustingly beautiful and fleeting newborn season so special.

At his gallery reveal, momma and I designed announcements and the most beautiful gallery wall with all of her favorite images that will decorate the walls of their new home as soon as they close on it. I can’t wait to be able to show it to you, but a digital mockup will have to do for now.
