The field was beginning to turn its soft shades of gold as we creeped into Fall here on the MS Gulf Coast. I knew it would be the perfect backdrop for this sweet family. At her styling and planning appointment this momma fell in love with the an eyelet embroidered dress in a soft pink for her sweet girl, so we dressed her and momma in some some soft pink tones. Having 5 of her guys to dress was a bit of a challenge because we wanted to make sure that they coordinated without feeling ultra matchy. We decided on a palette of pink and blues with a mix of warm neutrals, and it came together beautifully.

Momma knew she wanted this session to double as baby brother’s one year portraits and updated family portraits. I made sure to focus on some soft details that makes being one year old so sweet as well as capture all the love and connections that they all share. We snuggled, smiled, and played. I promised the boys that we would have fun, so when the big brothers were convinced they could hurdle my step ladder I told them to give it their best shot. LOL. I was pretty impressed that they totally managed to clear it. Then of course, there’s nothing like a good race to get some genuine smiles. Baby sister was unconvinced until she saw that her brothers were having a good time. I love that they all let her take the lead, and she loved being the center of attention as they all ran together. Momma fell in love with the image of that moment and her gallery reveal, and it became a centerpiece in her wall gallery that dresses her entry way. I hope you enjoy this session as we did.
