365 days. 52 weeks. 12 months…. but somehow it all goes by in a blink. I’m so glad the Sholar family decided to celebrate their sweet girl’s first birthday with a session out on our gorgeous MS Gulf Coast beach. The weather did not disappoint us. We were graced with the most glorious sunset and ocean breeze. We had lots of tickles, cuddles, sandy toes, and water splashes.
Mom’s text to me shortly after her session was something like, “Thank you for making us feel relaxed like we were just hanging out with a friend for a sunset on the beach.” This is my hope for every session with me. I want you to just soak in your sweet babies while I document the magical moments unfolding.
Styling
At momma’s styling session she decided she wanted her sweet girl to be the one to shine, so we chose a dusty mauve floral dress and complimented it with neutrals on mom and dad. Dad was prone to perspiring in our heat and humidity. Therefore, we chose a linen shirt for him to keep as cool as possible paired with camel khaki shorts to compliment baby’s warm toned dress. Momma looked absolutely stunning in this Free People wrap dress. It has just a touch of embroidery to add some texture to their styling.
The session and their artwork
After their styling was complete from the studio wardrobe collection, all that was left for momma to do before our stroll on the beach was to relax and allow Haleigh to pamper her. Haleigh provided momma with hair and makeup complete with the perfect beachy waves. Lastly, momma chose to frame her favorite image in a grey washed wood frame to be a statement piece in their open living area. It was the perfect touch for their space. We welcome you to enjoy some images from our evening.
