2020 brought lots of very unwelcome things. However, some were welcomed. One being an influx of MS Gulf Coast in home newborn sessions. Lately most mommas are more comfortable being at home with their sweet new bundles during a time filled with so many unknowns, and that is perfectly ok with me.

Leland’s mommy was busy creating a nursery for him that could certainly be featured in any home decorating magazine. The nursery is full of things that are both stylish and sentimental, including her crib that she slept in as a baby now refinished. The space is chic and understated with touches of nautical decor. As a MS Gulf Coast in home newborn photographer it was an absolute delight to photograph.

Leland’s fur big sister is not quite sure about the new little life that entered her home. She prefers to admire him from a distance, never making direct contact except for a quick diaper sniff or two. We let that slide since she’s really stinking cute!

Momma choose to wear one of my favorite dresses from the client wardrobe. It has dainty blue flowers on it that perfectly accent the small blue touches found in and throughout the nursery. Dad’s sweater compliments her dress and adds in a lovely element of texture. We put baby Leland in a cream swaddle to complete their look.

Lastly, I was able the help momma design the perfect gallery of frames to compliment the existing furniture and decor in their living space. Our goal was to highlight their first family photo as well as an individual image of Leland for a two frame gallery that balanced the artwork located on the opposite side of their fireplace. To finish off the look we chose a soft, distressed white molding to perfectly finish off her design.
