I absolutely adore this field maternity session with this sweet Mom and Dad-to-be! They are preparing to welcome their first baby. These final weeks are filled with so much anticipation and excitement for what’s to come, and it should be celebrated. Can you think of a better way than with your two fur-babies? Add in the golden tones of the field at sunset, and it was the perfect recipe for such a beautiful maternity session! 

Field Session with Pets

These two beautiful dogs are a huge part of their family, and we knew we had to involve them in their maternity session. We were also sure to include wardrobe for them, complete with big brother and big sister bandanas that mom brought along to coordinate. Does it get any more precious? I don’t think so!

A field session was perfect for this family and what I recommend if you plan to include your fur-babies. While the beach may be challenging with your pups in tow, the field offers a location where there are fewer distractions and more space for them to play. Overall it makes for a more fun, enjoyable session for everyone.

I’m so thankful I have the opportunity to get to know this family more and more as we document their son’s first year. Along the way, we’ll be designing and adding to their gallery wall. The first two installments are already hanging on the walls of their home, and it’s absolutely beautiful. The mix of frame styles accent their most favorite images, and I love the addition of their dogs’ portraits! Their wall gallery truly tells the story of their family, and to me that’s what it’s all about! 

 

I just adore that they will get to enjoy this first and second stage of their beautiful gallery wall in their home that will be complete after baby’s first birthday session. Mom and dad never had to miss a beat with work or caring for their sweet baby as I was able to help them choose their design that best fit their space, choose their favorite images, and install their frames that they get to enjoy daily.
