With each of my pregnancies, I remember wondering early on who our baby would more closely resemble. Would they have my features or their dad’s? Then when they were born, I remember wanting to just stare at them for hours, memorizing every little detail. Then there were those moments in a day when it hit me like a ton of bricks…my baby had literally changed overnight. Sadly, you’ll experience those exact same moments momma, and the last thing I want is for you to regret having not documented those precious, fleeting milestones.

Yes, I am an Ocean Springs newborn photographer, and saying that feels like part of the job, but truly, this is my heart. From one parent to another, I just don’t want you to miss out.

Heirlooms For Generations

That’s something that this mom and dad can check off their to-do list! They understand the value of preserving memories and being able to pass down heirloom pieces. Mom brought a special heirloom outfit for her baby girl to wear for their first family portraits. We added in touches of soft pink in her session to tie it all together. I helped them design an heirloom album with all of their favorite images, and I could not be more excited for them to have such a treasure. They will be able to enjoy it for years to come, and one day will pass it down to their daughter… so special!

Baby girl was so sweet- perfectly content the entire time and even gave me a little smile! She slept for most of her newborn session but did give us some alert time as well. One special, heart melting moment was spent looking right at her Momma. I am so thankful we were able to document that for the two of them. That’s one of those moments that they will have for a lifetime, and Momma will always be able to remember what it was like to hold her baby girl when she was a tiny newborn.
