This Ocean Springs beach maternity session was an absolute dream to photograph. It was a warm summer night, and we had the most beautiful sunset. This family was off the charts sweet and oozed with love for one another. I was sooo darn ecstatic to have my toes back in the sand again after such a rainy summer, and this was the perfect session to kick that off! 

We started our session by pampering for mom with in-home hair and makeup with my rockstar hair and makeup artist. After that, it was time to style both mom, dad, and the soon-to-be big sister! 

Being a mom myself, I know having a successful session goes far beyond choosing the best date and location.

She chose my girly, extra twirly tulle dress for their session, and it was perfect for twirling in the sand!

Maternity Session For Baby #2

After putting on the finishing touches, we made our way to the beach just in time for golden hour light – the yummy stuff! There were a lot of hugs, endless amounts of laughter, and so much love for the precious baby boy they will soon welcome into their family! 

Usually, it’s Mom and me gushing over how fun the session was, but one of my favorite comments came from Dad, “We’ve never worked with a photographer like this. I love it. Any chance I get to spoil my wife is great for me.”

Dad, we couldn’t agree more. You’ll never regret taking the time to prioritize these milestones for your family. Honestly, I can’t think of a better way to spend a summer night than to create new memories with your family that will last a lifetime!
