As a maternity photographer here in Ocean Springs, MS I get the beautiful honor of helping you tell your family’s story through imagery. There are many beautiful ways of growing your family, and it’s one of the most special times of our lives. However, it doesn’t always look the same for everyone. The path from daydreaming about rocking your baby to sleep and it becoming a reality isn’t always a linear one. 

Your body changes in so many ways when you carry a little life inside of you. Some changes are expected, and we embrace them with ease. Some changes are much less expected, and they’re harder to welcome. Even if your journey to parenthood carries a little more change than you dreamed, helping you document these beautiful moments through the challenges is what I love most. 

Maegan’s Maternity Session  

When mommas truly put their trust in me to ensure that they feel absolutely beautiful, it does turn up the pressure a bit. However, I’m always up for the challenge. ⁠This momma had a bit of a rough go at pregnancy. Leading up to her session, Maegan went into early labor several times. We were almost unable to do this session for them. With a bit of luck and a few prayers, we were able to make it happen, and the results are truly worth it.  

Maegan looked amazing in everything she tried on while finalizing her wardrobe, but the gown she chose was absolutely stunning and complimented her hair and our location so well. I can’t wait to have this sweet family in front of my camera again to photograph their baby girl. We’ll be documenting her first year through her baby story, and I’m so excited to watch her grow!

A Note to Mommas

Please hear me when I say, you are beautiful! Motherhood is beautiful in every stage. When you allow me to document your pregnancy, I promise you will never regret having those images. To add to that, years down the road your baby will see how much you loved them before you even held them in your arms. ⁠
