The truth is when a new baby joins the family, it does change the dynamic. Your older children step into big brother and big sister roles, and it can be quite an adjustment for everyone. Understandably so, this can raise concern for how the newborn session will go. 

Momma, let me assure you, no matter your children’s reaction – it’s theirs, it’s beautiful, and it’s absolutely the moments you’ll want to remember forever. I encourage you to be present with your children, focus on your connection with each of them, and let the magic unfold in front of my lens! 

Baby + Siblings 

Being a boy mom of three and a Pascagoula newborn photographer, I know how fast it goes. In a blink they grow from tiny little bundles to toddlers with two speeds- asleep or full sprint ahead. Let’s not even mention that they eventually outgrow your lap. Because of that, I made sure that in addition to photos with baby, Momma got a handful of photos with her biggest babies as well, especially her oldest.

Little (also now a big!) sister kept crinkling her nose and showing me the silliest little smile. I love that age and how they show their personalities. She loved the rocking horse in the studio and giving her new baby some sweet snuggles. Big brother was so gentle, and his sweet smile showed just how proud he was. I have a feeling these three are going to be the best of friends! 

This was truly one of the sweetest studio newborn sessions. I mean how precious is that little smirk and those squishy little rolls?

To make things as stress-free as possible for this new family of five, hair and makeup was provided for Mom and wardrobe for the entire family. So many of my clients have been opting for an all-white look lately, and I love it!
