If you live along the MS Gulf Coast, you are no stranger to our unpredictable weather. I joke that in addition to being a Pascagoula family photographer, I am a part-time meteorologist. I spend a lot of time looking at the weather and really making sure that we have the best conditions. However, that’s not always possible. Sometimes going with it on the day that works best for your family’s schedule allows us to create something really beautiful. 

A Chilly Night and Overcast Skies on the Beach

This sweet family was so patient as we had to reschedule a few times due to weather. While the weather still wasn’t perfect, we rolled with it and hoped for the best. It was freezing, and we were met with overcast skies and a cold breeze. They still had the best time with their babies and totally rocked it! 

With it being cooler, I tried to keep us moving during the session. That meant a lot of extra snuggles, dancing, twirling like princesses, and candid moments. Their smiles were genuine, and the laughter reminded me of why I do what I do. These are the moments that make life beautiful, and I am so honored that I get to document it all. 

Towards the end, I had the opportunity to document a really special moment for Mom as she nursed her youngest baby girl. These moments are fleeting, and having photos of this special bond between you and your baby is something you’ll always cherish forever. I promise!

Styling + New additions to the LSP Client Wardrobe

As a mom of three boys, I know it can be challenging to style your whole crew without feeling like they all match. Coordinating without being too matchy-matchy is always the goal, but it can be tricky to accomplish.

When styling this family, we decided on soft blues and neutrals. Mom’s dress was a beautiful shade of cream with a patterned overlay. For the girls, we did a mix of soft blue and cream, while working in different textures to keep things visually interesting. These pieces now have a home as part of the LSP client wardrobe!
