An exciting new home, TWO puppies to snuggle, and a big brother who can’t wait to meet his baby brother… What more could you ask for from a pregnancy announcement? As a Gulfport MS maternity photographer, I get to photograph expecting momma’s often, but getting to document it from the beginning is really special! 

This momma invested in the The Baby Story  for her sweet boy, but they wanted to start with a session they could use to announce their pregnancy and document them building their new home. These moments before moving day and baby’s arrival are special and full of anticipation and preparation. I love that they truly wanted to document this season in their lives with photographs that will last a lifetime. It is always humbling when people allow me the honor of being part of their story. 

We started their session by meeting in my studio to finalize their wardrobe. For Krysti, we chose a beautiful slate blue dress that complimented the guys perfectly and looked beautiful in both locations. We decided we had to get some shots while at the studio, and I love the fun moments with their pups. Have you ever seen cuter faces? They were so sweet, full of energy, and kept us laughing during the studio portion of their session with their big personalities.

Extra special details

Next, we made the short drive over to their soon-to-be-finished home. I’ve never photographed a session like this, but I simply couldn’t turn down such a fun opportunity of doing their announcement session here. 

Unfinished walls meant that they could do something to really make it their own. They wrote scripture on the studs- setting the tone for their family within the very walls that will soon become their home. It makes my heart swell thinking about all the firsts they are about to experience as a family and the memories that will soon fill these rooms. 

Everyone is over the moon about the arrival of this sweet babe, and I can’t wait to share more of their journey soon!
