The hard truth is our babies will never fit in our arms and lap like they currently do ever again momma. It’s miraculous how short of a time they’re this tiny. ⁠I love being there for these moments. It’s just one of the many reasons I cherish being a Hattiesburg, MS family photographer.

The Long Family

I adored working with the Long family for their portrait experience. We documented so many precious moments with the girls, and I still can’t even deal with all the squishy snuggles. Mom chose the perfect bubble for their baby girl to show off her sweet, little rolls.

For the location, we chose to document their family at my private field. While it was a bit overcast when we started, we were all overjoyed when the sun decided to come out. It delivered the perfect amount of glow! I love that we were even able to document such a tender moment between momma and her baby girl while nursing. She fell asleep at the end of their nursing session, and it was the perfect bookend to this beautiful family session.
