As a Biloxi, MS newborn photographer I love when I get the opportunity to photograph families in their most cherished environments- their homes.

Our homes are our sacred space. They’re our refuge and safe haven that wraps us in a warm hug at the end of each day. They’re where we let go of the cares of the outside world and lean into what and who matters the most.

The walls of our homes witness so much life and many seasons. Maybe for you, it will soon include bringing home a newborn. Those walls will soon see the shift of your nightstands transition from resting places of your favorite belongings to the organized chaos of a night-feeding station. They’ll soon be littered with pump parts or mostly finished bottles, burp cloths, and the occasional late-night snack. Your home will witness the addition of tiny garments to the laundry, and get accustomed to sound machines becoming the playlist of most of those early memories. You’ll experience so many firsts together, all within the walls of the place you call home. 

Is an In-Home Newborn Session a Good Fit for Your Family?

Having your newborn session in your home can be a beautiful way to celebrate this new season. It can bring a unique aesthetic to your portraits and honor your space in a meaningful way! It will also make choosing where to display them a breeze.

In-home sessions do require a few extra steps but don’t worry, I know what it’s like to have a new baby, and I don’t expect a pristine house! We will just make sure the areas we are going to use for your session and tidied up and free of any clutter when I arrive. We’ll use spaces with lots of natural light. Truly, my goal is the same- to provide a stress-free experience where you can focus on creating memories with family…all within the walls of your home! Anthony’s Newborn Session

I loved photographing this sweet family in their home in Biloxi. We brought in the pretty blue dress from the LSP studio wardrobe that complimented Anthony’s nursery colors. Everything felt so relaxed and laid back, and Anthony was such a snuggle bug. 

This sweet boy was happiest when being cuddled by Mom and Dad. I also loved getting to know a bit about their love story during our time together. These two met in Germany while Dad was stationed there. They have had a lot of wonderful adventures together, but nothing beats this newest one!
