The only thing more beautiful than a delicate, blush peony is a precious, new baby girl surrounded by them! I can hardly handle the sweetness of this beautiful studio session. As a Gulfport, MS newborn photographer, it’s an absolute treat to collaborate with other local creatives to help my sweet clients’ visions come to life. This is a gorgeous example of when all of the planning falls perfectly into place. The results are beyond dreamy! 

A little something special 

For this darling little one, we brought in Martha with The French Potager to create a stunning arrangement of hand-laid florals. This option is something I offer for all studio sessions, and I love the finished portraits of this baby girl surrounded by the softest shades of pink and cream. We choose whatever color palette momma requests, and Martha never fails to nail it. Florals add the perfect touch of whimsy and make the experience just a little extra special. Would you even believe that adorable smile in the second portrait was the first photo of the day? 

Continuing the Baby Story 

Offerings like these are what make being a Baby Story client so near and dear to my heart. During the experience, we’re able to plan and dream together about what these sessions could be. It also brings the development of relationships with families I treasure long after your portraits are at home on your walls. 

This was our second session for Maegan and her sweet family following their maternity session. Momma’s beautiful dress is from the LSP studio wardrobe and was almost our pick for their previous session. We decided to save it for baby girl’s newborn session, and I’m so glad we did. I love that the delicate cutout details of momma’s dress are a gentle nod to the flowers and bring everything together in just the right way. 

From this session, Mom and Dad added images to their baby girl’s first-year album. I can’t think of a more beautiful way to celebrate her precious life and the start of her adventures. Fresh flowers really do just have a way of making the already beautiful just a touch more so, even when that doesn’t seem possible!
